Who We Are?
We are the Zomi ethnic from the northern part of Chin State, Burma (Myanmar). We had well founded fear of being persecuted because of our race, nationality and religion in our home country and we had faced serious discrimination and dramatically complex Human Rights abuses by military government in our home country. We fled to Malaysia to seek protection under the aegis of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Malaysia.
